My PS2 wireless guitar isn't connecting 2 my PS3....?

My PS2 wireless guitar isn't connecting 2 my PS3. I bought the GHWT bundle 4 PS2 a while back ago. I've upgraded 2 PS3 but my controllers wont link.... WHY?

PS2 controllers WILL work for PS3 as long as your PS3 is the 80G and not the 40G. 40G PS3s are only compatible with PS3 games, controllers, and devices.

i agree with tim there is no way that it will be able to be compatible with the PS3 b/c its not made for the PS3 as tim suggested i say that u buy a whole new set but real cheap but also in good condition

I don't think the PS2 guitar controllers work for PS3. I had to buy a whole new guitar set for PS3.
