ok call me stupid if you will i played #4 1st and then #2 followed by #1 but my question is not 4 #2 it's about #4 and #1. In #1 for some reason when the story ends maryle or whats her name dies but in #4 she's alive so WTF!!!!!! is up with that

Just try to succeed in the torture scene. in the end, snake and merryl escaped shadow moses island together.
