All the games I've bought so far were bought on their release date. The only exception is Grand Theft Auto, and I bought that game when I bought my PS3. I also have not bought a game in a very long time. Midnight Club LA or SOCOM are the most recent games; I don't remember when SOCOM was released though. When I'm ready to start buying games again, I will definitely be going used. The only exception is, of course, Gran Turismo 5, where I will stand in line 2 days before its released if need be.

Poll: Ps3 owners do you buy your games new or used?
May be...
I open my eyes and releiased the ps3 game discs don't get damage so easily unlike the xbox 360 games.... so I'm going to start buying used xD with a edge card from gamestop.. Well, so far, new.

Always new for me. I want the case and book. The only time I'll buy a used game, is if there are no longer selling them new, and used is the only option available. And it feels weird owning a used game for some reason, just knowing someone had it before. New since I want to play the latest games as soon as it's released. If I want to get the games cheaper, I just wait until Best Buy have them on sale. I got Saint's Row 2 collector's edition for 35 bucks. SFIV is down to 30 bucks. I buy mine used cause you can get a discount with an edge card and i've never had a problem playing used games in my ps3 I buy them new because the developers won't get any money if you buy them used from GameStop. And, I don't really like GameStop, so I'd rather buy them somewhere else. dude gamestop sucks ihate that store. because they don't sell games to kids that are 13 they only sell it 17 to to w.e well I buy new games Both it really doesn't matter new
