Here's my suggestion.



1. Put it on eBay.



2. Make a reserve for the absolute lowest you would sell it for, if you're nervous about that.

If you don't care about PS2 games, 2 extra USBs and a card reader - get a new 80GB - it's cheaper.

save your money I have a 360 and my buddy has PS3 after he played Prey on my 360, he thinks resistance is stupid.



He also agrees that some of the games are dumb as hell. And 360 has more fun library.



I have to agree. I used to be a PS2 fan until I seen the price of the PS3 and interviews w/Game Developers about the nightmares of programming games for it.



If the guys who make the games dont like it, what makes you think you will?

Have you played MGS 1, 2, and 3 on playstations 1 and 2. I dont know about the psp games but MGS 4 is definetly worth buying. I dunno whats the point in having a 80G ps3 anyways. Just get the 40G MGS 4 bundle and buy something else you want if you feel the need to spend that much money.

If U...dont care about PS2 games....then get the regular core for 80GB and Dualshock Controller $399.99. If, u do...then get the MGS4 Bundle with Dualshock and game for $499.99. Or...just wait for the 160GB PS3, coming Nov.

Is there any way of installing an NES Emulator on my PS3 without doing the whole Linux hack blah blah blah stuff.

Nope, currently only Homebrew game direct on Ps3 is Pong, and that uses a coding for Blu-Ray menu systm, so isnt exactly huge, or NES emulator.

Linux is the only way to go.

Yes Look up Java emulators, although it doesnt produce any sound as of yet.

When is the release date for Rock Bank 2 on PS3. I found two different dates.

XBOX360- Sept 14th

PS3- Oct 19th (Im getting it)

Will- Nov 18

Its september on the 360.



But microsoft payed for it to be delayed on everything else and they ahevnt announced how long the delay is.

It depends on where you live. You didn't tell us. The 2 dates you saw could be in 2 different continents.

I set the hdmi settings too high on my PS3 and I cant put it back!!!?

I just hooked up my hdmi cables to my new tv and accidentally set the picture quality too high to 1080p instead of the 1080i resolution. Now i have a blank screen on my tv because it doesnt support that picture quality so i cant see what im doing. Is there a way to completely restore my PS3 without having to see the screen, maybe on the console? I already tried holding down the power button and all that does is reset it. HELP ME I WANT TO PLAY!!!!!!

Ok, this is a common problem. First, turn off your ps3 from the back with the switch. Now, when you go to turn it on, instead of just tapping the power button in the front, hold it down for 5 seconds. This will reset the display and sound settings and automatically use the lowest settings so u can see no matter what tv your using.



I do this all the time when i switch from my HDTV to my Standard Def tv.

You need to reset your console.



Turn it off, then hold the power button for about 5 seconds until you hear a second beep
