is it possible to have a friend come over and u both play call of duty 4 online using your ps3if not can u do that with resistance?

no u can't do that online even on resistance but however u'll be able to do that when resistance 2 comes out (online coop mode) they announced it

On line on COD4 you cant. How ever you can do it offline, go to multiplayer and choose split screen, then choose your map and your options.
