Folding@home question?

if i downloaded the folding @ home program to my system will my system be used all the time by standford university computers or will it only be used when i go back into the folding home program

It'll only be used when you're Folding@home. Not when you aren't using the program. :D

Stanford uni will only have access to your PS3 when your running the Folding@Home program and uploading a work unit.
