I getting a optical cable for PS3 cuz i get a buzzing sound with the composite cables and i nees some help?

May be...

When i hook up the optical cable to the back of my PS3 to the back of my surround sound do i just have to have the yellow prong into the tv without putting in all three



Also is anyone else have this problem where u get a buzzing noise like when u are at the main menu of the PS3

You may be calling your audio/video cables composite cables mistakenly.



Composite cables do not transfer audio, they are a higher quality video cable system.



If your TV has a digital optic input then I would use that, and Yes you would only need to have the yellow video cable plugged in.
