Which one number is how many GBs I have left for PS3?

May be...
  • I have an 80 GB, and it says I have 55 GB/74 GB. My question is which one is how many GB I have left? I assume its 74 but I really don't know.
  • It's the first number. Read it as "55 out of 74 GB free."

That is plenty of space. There are not enough downloadable full games to fill 2/3 of that space. The demos would probably exceed it, but you don't need to have every demo sitting on your hard drive for a long time. Demos are disposable.

Video would be the main reason to get an external (Don't get a new internal or you will have to either discard the original one or constantly swap them in and out). Externals are pretty cheap gb-for-gb, can have much more space than an internal, and are plenty fast for things like video and music. Video is about the only thing that really can take up a lot of space fast.
  • If you have an 80 GB PS3, your total size is going to be 74GB and 55 GB is what you have free. It's like a fraction, 55 out of 74 GB. 55/74
  • 55. i bought a 250 gig. have 175gb left
  • u have a 74 gb ps3 and ur free space is 55 gb
  • You have 55 GB out of 74 GB. Really, 80 gig ps3's only have 74 GB of storage space, because about 6 GB are taken up by system information. You should really have enough. If you feel the need, get an external harddrive.
