CanI play a US version of PS3 Game on a Asian PS3?

May be...

I searched around but I want to make sure

cause' I really want to pick up an Orange Box and GTA IV

You can play all Ps3 games from all around the world on every Ps3 console all around the world.



I buy games from almost everywhere and i know what i'm talking about.



So dunt worry :)



@ Klute : he is talking about GTA IV you stupid head. GTA IV is a video game and not a movie. If you do not know something, please stay quiet and let others spread correct information.



ps- Dark Sector is an very aswome game

PS3 games are not region locked.



I live in Japan, own a Japanese PS3 and, since I cannot read Japanese, I import US games to play on it. I have more than 10 boxed US games and more than 5 PSStore downloadable US games and all run fine.



So, you will be able to play US games on an Asian PS3.



On a side note, if you are using your PS3 on a SD TV, you should have some problems because of the NTSC/PAL system settings. But if you use it on an HD TV, you should be fine.

The PS3 is region specific, the US is region 1 and Asia is region 3 so you can't play them. have a look here for more information...
