Is the playstation 3 anygood ?

May be...

I checked out some games but early days yet I guess ( they dont look much better than 6th gen console games imo). Is it worth me getting one or waiting 2 yrs until new designs are released? I'm not impressed by any of the consoles out right now, but thought psx 3 might be the more sensible investment .

Yeah, I’m the absolute authority on this and nobody else has the right to question my word... ever. Excluding the handheld market, like you said, the current range of consoles are rubbish. Even though most of the exclusive titles go toward the console market, I wouldn’t bother with ANY of them. Get a new PC instead. For the cost of a playstation 3 you can get a cheap Pc with a good graphics card, o.d on extra ram and you’ll be better off, possibly even spend less. Pc’s have an average lifespan of 4 yrs with upgrades, consoles last 2 at the most. Blue rays is a white elephant.

I love the PS3! If you get the 60GB console it will play all PS2 games and all PS3 systems play Blu-Ray DVDs which is also a plus. They also have awesome controllers that are wireless and are starting to come out with more games. PS3 has awesome graphics and the system is good looking. It is definitely worth getting one if you enjoyed PS2. PS3 is so much better and step up in the gaming world.

Yes, it's good. PS3 games are starting to look better and better than the 360 games because developers have had more time to get to know the PS3.



Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming out next month. Haze comes out later this month. LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2 is coming out later this year. That's just a few of the exclusive PS3 games.

With the way PS3 is goin right now, it'll be spectacular in the future! But for now the XBOX 360 has the better library of games.

Yeah its better! I love the PS3, it has blu ray which is awesome, bluetooth, and the game little big planet later this year.

YES PS3's are definitely worth it .2008 is going to be SONY's year you get MGS4,the new GRAND TURISMO,+ a great Blueray player!

Buy xbox 360, it has a little worse graphics, but it cost about a half of a playstation 3

but its kinda the same with x box 360

just a tiny bit better on the graphics

the ps3 is worth it just for MGS4
