What is the best way to leave my ps3?

i just got my ps3 today. its amazing



BUT



when you turn it off what is the best way to leave it when you turn it off?



1. Stand-by mode (red light)

OR

2. just turn off the power all together

standby mode because:

it uses no more power than turning it off (except to light an LED which is NOTHING!)

You can turn your PS3 on and off with just your controller which means no getting up! this is great because i play while lying in my bed so i dont need to get up before going to sleep if it's late at night

Definitely the first one. turning any system on and off isn't good. The stand-by mode barely uses any power and it makes it easier to use when you want to turn it on.

okay there;s nothing wrong with turning it off?? I don't know what the person above me is saying



but yea just leave it in standbye

Option 1...unless you want to save that power too...but it doesn't consume that much power.
