How to connect NTSC PS3 to PAL SDTV?

I bought a US NTSC PS3, and I am going to Hong Kong this summer. Does anybody know how to connect NTSC PS3 to PAL SDTV without the converter thing?

It depends on what kind of tv you are going to connect it to because a there are some TV's these days are NTSC compatible
