I have this problem with my playstation 3 lol?

May be...
  • Okay when my father went on to play it as soon as he signed on as his thing it said the same message over and over again saying,''the hard disk is corrupted and will be restored,''so he presses x and it does iut but then the game will come on and it does the same thing again its like a repeating circle HELP ME OUT!!! AHHHHHRRRRR LOL
  • gta iv gave me that, and i thought my ps3 was bricked.

try plugging it out, and not playing it for 1-2 hrs, it worked on me
  • Your PS3 has a broken harddrive probably. Does it do it on all games or just this one? It could be the game disk, but I doubt it.

This is actually a perfect time to upgrade your harddrive if that's the problem. You can buy any size SATA 2.5" 5400rpm harddrive. Installing a 250gb drive is popular, especially if you put a lot of music on it. Newegg has a 250gb Seagate drive that will fit for only $110. Samsung has a 320 gb for the same price oddly enough.

Anyhow, you'll be able to put all your music and whatnot on a larger drive, which will be good, especially for when Firmware Update 2.4 comes out, which gives in-game xmb, including music selection.

You could still call Sony and get a replacement drive, and then use that an an external enclosure. It makes it so the PS3's drive will act as a USB harddrive, which you can use for anything.
  • try to reformat it with your computer. I don't know the exact steps to do this but a little googling will help. If you can't do this, you may need to buy a new hard drive
  • call sony, they supposedly have great tech support. even if they cant help you fix it, u can probably get a new hard disk or ps3
  • then your disk is messed up
  • It means you should get a Wii or 360.
