PS3 connection help?

May be...
  • i want to go online with my ps3 which is on the main floor. i have a desktop computer with a wired connection on the 2nd floor. what do i need to get a wireless connection
  • The PlayStation 3 has a WiFi adapter built in. To take advantage of this feature you need a wireless router that can handle heavy gaming and internet usage such as N-models or Rangemax or Rangeplus. Once you have this you need to hook it up to your modem and then go to network settings and set up a wireless connection. It will scan for networks and yours will appear and you are done.
  • if your PS3 has Wi-Fi then all u need is a wireless router which will transmit the internet signal u have ( it has to be high speed or going online with the PS3 won't work) to your PS3, installation is easy I suggest a D-Link Dir-655 router
  • Your going to need a wireless router connected to your modem and then set up your connection setting on your ps3 to wireless. It's fairly simple. Although you cant do it with a 20gb ps3
  • A wireless router or you could get a wired router but then you have to run cables.
