Ps3 or xbox?

May be...

I've been playing pc now I want either to get an xbox or ps3 so wondering which has the best graphics and the best games, I wanna start with assassin creed, also can the games be downloaded from torrent sites direct to their hard drives or what are other ways to get free games

first off i want to let you know that i am a PS360 owner meaning that i own both systems, so i have experienced both systems and you are better off getting a ps3 because...



- ps3 has a built-in blu-ray player



-ps3 supports 1.3 HDMI which has rich colors and xbox supports 1.2 HDMI



- ps3 has much more and better exclusives, most of them cant go to xbox 360 because it cant handle that many data(DVD- 8.5gb, blu-ray 50gb)



- because of the blu-ray's huge space, ps3 will have WAY better graphics than 360



- online is free for ps3 not like 360



- you can browse the internet on ps3, no such thing for xbox 360



- the graphics for multi platform games are starting to look better on ps3



- developers stated that they will start using ps3 as the lead platform and port ps3 games to xbox



- playstation home is coming out this fall, its a virtual community where you can hang out with friends and customize your own apartment which xbox doesnt have(FREE)



- ps3 is a true HD console. xbox 360 upscale games to 1080p and ps3 DISPLAY games up to 1080p



- built in Wi-Fi



- xbox 360: 33% hardware failure

ps3: .2% hardware failure(see the decimal? less than 1%!)



- ps3 plays almost all ps1/ps2 games except the 40gb, xbox 360 can only play certain titles mostly the “greatest hits”



- dualshock 3 is now available



- xbox 360 already has been maxed out to its potential with gears of war. ps3 has not been maxed out yet- look at uncharted drakes fortune, better graphics than gears and its only 30% of ps3’s potential



- you can upgrade your harddrive without voiding warranties with any 2.5 HDD, which xbox cant because you have to buy a xbox HDD

those are the ones that i know right off my mind but there are much more reason than this



Now I want you to do me a favor, list all the reasons why xbox is better than ps3. I PROMISE you that nobody will get at least 5 reasons

if you want the accessories that ps3 comes with, that would add up to over 700 dollars, so that means ps3 is cheaper

all comes out to $399/$499, oh my,look at that, its the same price as before

PS3, what he said above and from now on the PS3 is getting better exclusives than 360 like GT 5, motorstorm 2, resistance 2. xbox 360 has already had a lot of its popular exclusives in 2007. the PS3 will also last longer because it has Blu-ray for bigger games in the future and better graphics capabilities.

I have a 360 yet I don't really regret getting because at the time the ps3 was like $700 but now that the price is cheaper I'd recommend the ps3. 360 is a great system but ps3 will give you way more bang for your buck especially if you're interested in torrenting. Torrenting is possible on the 360 but requires som pretty difficult and risky modding. Do yourself a favor and get a ps3.

I have both but play xbox more only because more of my friends have an xbox. If I had to chose one I would chose PS3 100%. It has better graphics and is cheaper when you consider memory, asseccories, etc. The xbox has maybe better games but soon PS3 will have all the same games.

I would get the ps3 for lots of reasons. One it has an internet browser 360 doesnt. ps3 supports ile downloads from torrent sites xbox doesnt. the ps3 has better graphics but the xbox has more games out and alot more hits. if i were you i would get the ps3 trust me!

i love the 360 im a diehard xbox fan but just two days ago my xbox broke down a second time in a month first the red rings and now nothing but unplayable disc error ps3 doesnt get this so i say ps3 unless you get the 2 year warrenty your screwed probably lol

ps3 because of the accessories I have one and love it ...blu ray is the bomb yo... you can download games to it and it does have an online community but a bit smaller then xbox ...havent had lag issues at all when I connect with the ps3 where I have seen warnings for xbox about the lag it causes.... look up the worlds fastest computer...ps3 tech is what backs it not xbox tech...

i have 360 i like the on-line it hasn't broke yet so i will keep with it. ps3 is good also but i don't like the fact the controllers have no vibration also its too thick. Wait till ps3 slim. or if u want to play lots of people on line get 360 the community is massive.

i have neither, but ive heard much better things about xbox 360, and the online community is much bigger, i know loads of mates who play xbox live, but i dont know any who play ps3 online, graphics wise ive heard theyre both equal so my verdict is xbox

X box 360 is good when its working but experiencing Red rings of death yesterday for the second time in a year i wouldn't bother!

Im really sorry to tell you that the Xbox360 is an unreliable system..So it doesn´t matter how many functionalities it has, if it brokes it doesn´t worth anything :(

ps3... better games better graphic better online (free) better everything!!!

Ps3...until Micro$oft gets their act together I'll never consider to buy a xbox.



Btw if I were you I'd buy a videogame with online first...single player games tend to get a little boring

I did a compare/contrast essay on this subject for my honors LA class and I found that PS3 was pretty easily better.
