What type of Hard Drive does the PS3 have?

What is the exact name/type? And what is the biggest kind that can fit internally into the Playstation? It is a 2.5 Inch SATA HDD.
It needs to be 2.5 inch SATA if you are going to replace the one you already have.
They go up to around 250 Gigs. You "should" have a backup Hard Drive so I would just get a very, very, very big external one, but that's me. Industry standard SATA hard drive. The type you find in laptops and PCs. So any size Hard Drive will work the biggest internal hard drive is a 80 gig, but u can attach an external 750gig hard drive to it guess.
