Where can I buy an 80GB PS3?

May be...

I live in Oakley, Ca (East Bay, near Antioch) and can't find a single store that sells a sole 80GB PS3 console. Anyone know where I could buy an 80GB console or perhaps a bundled console thats 80GB. I know Gamestop will be releasing 80GB with MGS4 but I don't wanna wait in that line Thursday morning!!! Please Help...

First of all the 80gb is not in any retailer right now because they were discontinued. But there will be 80gb metal gear solid bundle coming out june 12, 2008. U dont have to wait in line ands its limited too and according to sony ceo the 80gb was resurrected just for this bundle. Right now u can order it below if u want

The re-release of the 80gig is with the MGS4 bundle on the 12th. They stopped making them for aa while ago which means stores don't have them. Sony doesn't overship (channel stuffing to reflect higher number of shipments falsely implying better sales) to stores so there is rarely an overstock of any ps3 including the original release of the 80 that would be waiting in some back room

since there isn't a gamestop close to you or a bestbuy or circuit city, go online to gamestop.com or bestbuy.com, or circuit city.com, all of them are bound to sale the 80gb model, but if i were you i go with the 60gb model of the ps3 since it has backward compatibility, and just buy MGS4 the game only, but your choice

Just pre-order the MGS4 bundle before it sells out, Sony stopped making 80gb PS3 for a while and are very hard to find in stores

online OR TRY BESTBUY but i would save money and buy a xbox 360 somethings are made for gaming and a ps3 isnt i have both andf games run smoother on xbox 360
