AR Max cheat device for PS2?

i bought an AR max cheat device and it was goin great for the first few hours! after the few hours when i tried to download saves and cheats from the internet,my memory card lost all its data and i cant use my memory card anymore. does this usually happen for AR max and is there a way u can fix ur memory card?

This can happen when using cheat devices such as AR Max and Gameshark. Once your memory card because corrupted it will eventually spread to all of the memory, which sounds like your case. You will have to buy a new one, and be more careful next time around.
