Difference between PS3's?

May be...
  • I know there's a lot more than simply hard drive size.

What are some of the major and minor differences between all sizes?
  • Check this link. Scroll down 1/3 of the page, there is a chart that breaks it all down.

    **Edit - Sorry Wombat, I m u s t correct inaccuracies.

Difference between 20 and 60GB is not just memory.. There is also: 20GB no built in WiFi, no Flash card Readers (flash card, prosticks, etc) No Chrome Trim. Both these models have the best BW compatibility

40 and 80GB 40GB has only 2 USB ports (80GB has 4), no Flash card readers, no Chrome Trim. 40 Gb has no BW compatibilty (except PSOne games)
  • Well the only difference between the 20 and 60 are memory.

40 and 80 is the 40 has 2 USB ports instead of 4 on the 80.

And on the 80 you can put stiff like SD memory sticks in cameras and all that stuff other than that just memory. Oh and the 80GB Plays PS2 games, and the 40GB doesn't.

Oh whoops sorry, listen to the other guy about the 20 and 60.
  • ive looked at 40 gb versions but myself got the 60 gb on realease and have to say that the 60 gb is the better built model and looks better ! shiny etc ! both do wireless but the 60gb has mem card reader and usb's at front of console ! if you can get a mint 60 gb get it its worth it ! saying that heard they are fetching a 80gb version out . hd drive wise you can always upgrade it yourself to a 120gb easy enough hope that helps !
  • just get the ps3.
