A playstation 3 question?

I got the sixaxis controllers when they came out and have 2. I noticed only dualshock 3 is available now. Is there a difference because a guy was going to pay me 80 for my sixaxis because you can't buy them in stores anymore. WHat the deal?

Same technology in both except that the Dualshock 3 has rumble. No idea why someone wants to pay more for older technology.

dual shock 3 is heavier, have rumble.. thats it, and everything is just the same..
