Playstation update?

all of my friends have version 2.4 & it is annoying me why I dont have the update can someone help me with the proplem of the update

The update will be back up as soon as Sony fixes it.

Hopefully, it will be up today. I imagine the programmers over at Sony are really anxious to get this ironed out and get 2.40 back up again.



Check the PS3 blog at blog.us.playstation.com. They'll have the news as soon as 2.40 is back up.

Sony is relaunching it "soon".

It was causing freezing during installation on some PS3s.

My advice is to not install it. It is causing problems wait until they fix it. I don't even think you can download the update anymore sony has pulled it. Don't worry your not missing out on much as of now.

Sony pulled it due to some people having trouble installing it,Sony will release it again once the straighten everything out.

try going on the XMB to the left and searching for the latest update.
