Its basiclly a 40gb except with a larger hardrive (40gb more).



2 USB slots, No Flash Card readers, No Backwards Compadibilty toward PS2 games, only to PS1 games (Just like the 40gb). And it wont have the stunning chrome trim. All of that for just $399.99. Thats the price of the 40gb. So basiclly, this new 80gb Core model, is just a 40gb with a larger hardrive as I said before. Because of this change, they will discontinue the original 40gb in September.

its just the 40gb with more memory or larger hard drive size.. whatever the 40gb have now, 2usb ports, no flash card readers, no backwards compatibility..So basically its just 40 gb with a doubled memory which will be 80gb..And its going to be cheaper which cost you for about $399 + tax..

Its basically the 40gb model but with a larger hard drive and it will cost the same as the 40gb model as the core package is replacing it.

Its the 40gb system with an upgraded hdd to 80 gb. nothing more nothing less.
