I need some ps3 help overheat help?

on the ps3 r 2 power buttons. 1 of them is a main power switch and the other 1 is a off and on button.whenever u dont play it r u supposed 2 turn off the main power switch or leave it on. i dont want mine to overheat so and its laying horizontal

You don't have to worry about it overheating on standby mode. I only turn mine off with the back power button whenever I know I wont use it for a few days or more. As long as there is at least 5 inches of free space on all sides your PS3 will be fine. Oh yea don't sit it on carpet that is a bad thing.

i leave mines on stand by all the time so i can turn it on using the controller i had mines for like 4 or 5 months and the only time i turn it off from the back is when i'm unpluging it

you should get a free playstation 3 from this site instead of buying retail
