Top 5 playstation 3 offline games? + what ps2 games runs on 40gb ps3?

i got over 35 ps3 games and this is my opinion:



assassins creed(****)

metal gear solid 4(*****)

uncharted drakes fortune (*****)

grand theft auto 4 (****)

ratchet and clank tools of destruction (****)



there all really good offline games for the ps3 and they all have alot of gameplay time and also all have good replay ability, especially uncharted drakes fortune.



and also the 40gb ps3 does not play any playstation 2 games as the emotion chip (ps2 chip) was removed to reduce production costs thus the reason why the ps3 had a major price drop of £125.

Top 5 really depends on your preference, but I guess one from each genre wouldn't hurt:



GTA 4

Ninja Gaiden (any of them, really)

Assasin's Creed

Metal Gear solid 4

all come to mind for off-line play.



I don't think any of the 40 gig one splay ps2 games.

No PS2 games can be played on 40gb Ps3. The 40gb ps3 has no backwards compatibility

40gb cannot play any PS2 games at all
