Is it worth buying a Playstation 3?

May be...

I got a LOT of money to spend. About £1000 (roughly $1800). So is it worth buying the PS3, i dont care about the price. Is it worth it compared to a XBOX 360?



I loved the PS2, does that mean i should buy a PS3 instead?

PS3. It can do a lot. And with that money you can buy a ton of games as well as some extra controllers and the playstation eye. here are some games:

yeah, PS3 is defiently worth it. loads of great games ( and you can probs get most with your leftover cash) Blu-rays are a bonus, trust me you wont use it "jsut for gaming"

though 60gb is only PS2 compatibel model so if you want to paly yoru PS2 games still either keep the current one (and in good condition) or search ebay for 60gb as they stopped selling it in stores awhile ago.

if you are alright gettign a non-ps2 verison then on 27th august theyre releasing a 80gb version of the current 40gb model. it does everything 60gb does but play ps2 games.

the games are really good and its such a good quality

for example the graphics on my brothers ps3 games are much better than the ones on his ps2 ones

he can also play against other people using ps3 around the world, which makes it really good fun

if i was you i would get it, you can still play on your ps2 but also get the enjoyment of having a ps3 aswell

I have both systems 360 and ps3. i had always just owned a 360 but i recently bought a ps3 and i am loving it. im actually thinking of selling my 360. ps3 is catching up to 360 in terms of entertainment and gaming. and you dont have to pay for online play! Also i would buy one soon as sony will be removing backwards compatibility in new systems in september.

i love my ps3 i have had it since launch day here in the uk and i have played on it a lot the graphics are amazing and they are well worth buying so i would say go out and buy a ps3. if you liked your ps2 then you will love the ps3 even more.

The PS3 is completely worth it. They do have about the same graphics as 360 but they do offer alot of games that the 360 doesnt. You should look up the games that the PS3 has and if your interested in them then go for it.

YH ITS SOO FUN AND THE XBOX CANNOT BE UPDATE THE PS3 UPDATES EVERY MONTH SO IT KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER

its sooo quite as well when it turn on you don't hear a thing but the xbox like a car engine which means when your playing it when yuor not suppose to they usuallly find out

If it has games you want to play, then yes. If all the games you want to play are on the 360 or the Wii, then no.

ya. it has great games. xbox 360 and ps3 are basicallly the same thing. 360 doesn't do anything better than the ps3. you'll like it trust me
