You google PS3 linux download,download it, save it on a memory stick, go to PS3 Settings-System Settings-Install other OS (you might have to format your Hard Disk in the Format Utility). However, I do NOT recommend it, because it's a) emulated

b) the PS3 is perfect as it is and another OS, especially emulated, would just slow it down.

its an Operating system (OS) it works like for example Windows XP/ Mac os x but it is different. i dont think you should install it if you dont simply know what it is.
