Do you think the PS3 is worth its price ?

why?

because you get a gaming system, a blu ray player,

and if you get a blu ray player alone, it will be about the same price as a PS3

Yeah, it's a great deal for all the built in add ons you get in the PS3. I think the Blu-Ray player goes for $300-500 ( correct me if i'm wrong ) The PS3 is $399 ( new )! If I knew the price was going to go down a would of waited. I bought the PS3 for $600 at launch. Oh well, It's a great system and I'm satisfied.

The PS3 is only a good deal if you care about blu-ray.



If you don't, like me, and just want a game machine then it's a lot harder to justify the PS3's higher prices when the 360 plays many of the same games with little or no difference then those on the PS3. The 360 also has the larger library of exclusive titles - including RPGs which used to be a Playstation staple.

Anyone who does not have it, wants it, but can't afford of course is going to say it is expensive. Anyone who has it, uses it, and loves it, of course is going to say it is a good deal. Fortunatley, I fall within the latter category. I have the 60GB that cost me $549.00, I would have paid more.

agree. Now that Blu Ray is the undisputed winner of the next gen format war, the PS3 is a smart buy.



Once we start getting games at a faster rate and Blu Ray movies drop from the 30 - 35 dollar range down to the 20 - 25 dollar range, I will buy one too. (already got the 1080P tv)

You get a lot of built in things like wireless and blue tooth connection,you have also a lot of memory you can store stuff.

yeah i think that it is considering all the free things you get out of it including hi def gaming six axes and home coming out soon not to mention blue ray so yeah
