It's a very good 3d game though a bit small, it has very good physics and lots of objects in the various scenes. The idea of the game is you have a giant slingshot, and you set its elevation and power and aim it and then you hurl yourself into the air with the objective of causing as much pain as possible to yourself or others and damage to the environment in general. When you are in the air you can steer a little bit, and when you land you are able to push yourself to change your momentum a bit also. But it's mostly in how you aim. You can grab various objects and people as you fly through the air and hurl them along their own flight path, and there's lots of explosives and tall buildings with things conveniently placed that you can cause huge chain reactions of damage. That is the main mode where you just try to get as many points for damage as possible.
Then there is mime toss, where you have to break a certain number of panes of glass by launching yourself past a mime, grabbing him and throwing him through the glass, as fast as possible.
Monkey spank is you have to hit a certain number of monkeys as fast as possible, that appear in various places.
Fun with explosives has way more than normal boxes of dynamite involved.
2 player has bowling and horse, which are the popular games of those names and need no explaining.
One cool thing you can do is run free-view video replays of your flights.
Eventually you will get sick of Pain, I haven't played in 2 months, but it's worth the 10 bucks
And it doesn't hurt your hands like trying to play Guitar Hero with a sixaxis controller... (that is some real pain, I wish they had not released that demo)
