What is better? a psp or ps2?

im thinking of bying a psp or ps2.. the price is pretty much the same. the problem is im scared to bye a ps2 and then they stop making games...... i dont know which ine to choose....

The PSP Is more for travel, the games/graphics are alright, but the games might be cut short

PSP(Cut down version of PS2/3)



If you travel a lot, need to play games when you are not home PSP.



Mainly Play games at Home PS2,

(Longer,better games, better graphics)



Yes, they are trying to stop making games for the PS2, but a lot of games are already out(Thousands),



And EA might still make games for the PS2.



And if you do decide to go for the PSP, Get The new 3000 series, they are out soon.

They both have the same graphics. The PSP has multimedia features and is great for being portable. The PS2 has a large library of games. It may be a couple years before they stop the PS2 production.



But if you get a PSP, then if I were you, I would wait until they release the new model of the PSP (PSP-3000). It will have an anti-glare fix, so that any light won't get on the screen when you play. It should be released October 14 in North America and October 15 in Europe.

Basically the PSP is a portable PS2 just with media functions built in into it. Both the graphics are the same and controlls.



It is best to buy a PSP, because it's still running strong, meaning there will be more games coming out for it, but for the PS2 is slowly going, either early next year or mid next year.

basically no good games are coming out for the ps2 anymore. but there are PLENTY of old games that are make buying a ps2 worth it. i would go for the ps2, that's the best selling console ever, and there's a reason for that, it's awesome. i'm not saying that the psp is bad, but the ps2 has come out with so many great games

I ahve both. I recommend getting the ps2. The psp got pretty boring. Although, better games are coming out for it. I'm just waiting for kingdom hearts birth by sleep and that dissegia final fantasy game.

Get a PSP!!!

PSP has almost all the ps2 games and you can connect your psp to your tv so it's like a mini ps2.
