Whats the diffrence between the dualshock 3 controller and the six axis controller?

May be...
  • I know six axis is wireless. does that mean that the dual shock 3 has a cord or what?

    is there a major diffrence?
  • The only difference is that the Sixaxis controller doesn't have rumble while the Dualshock 3 has rumble and Sixaxis.

    Sixaxis= sixaxis

    Dualshock 3= rumble and sixaxis

    Not all games support the rumble feature on the Dualshock 3 because the Dualshock 3 came out after some of the games were already made.
  • the dualshock has rumble feature and the 6-axis controllers are like Wii's motion sensor but dont have the rumble feature like the dualshock has;)

    both can either be wired or wireless depending on which the user prefers :D
  • SiXXAxis is motion sencored only.....but the DS3 has a new rumble feature used in newer ps3 games, and has the sixxaxis feature as well....so pretty much the difference is the sixxaxis doesnt support rumble....DS3 i hear is quite durable and weighs alittle more
  • six axis is the motion control aspect of the controller, dualshock 3 is the rumble feature, the dualshock 3 controller also has six axis.
  • No, The Only Difference is that DS3 has Vibration.

    So the DS3 has 6 axis built in, so its better.

    6-Axis has no vibration.
  • JUST THE RUMBLE AND THE WEIGHT MY FRIEND. THE DS3 IS A BIT HEAVIER.
