How can i improve the graphics on my ps3 without getting an hdtv?

i dont have the cash to get an hdtv yet, but if there is any cables needed to make the picture look better im all in for it, im currently playing at 480i Does your TV have S-video? If it does, then you can get slightly better picture with the S-video cable. It's not going to be a huge improvement like going from SD to HD. Going from composite to S-video just gives you a little bit better clarity.
