PS3 or pick the 360 ?

360 its a good deal and you have fun games but no free internet

Wii is a joke youll get laughed at by everyone ye its fun for about 5 mins then you relise you have nothing to play apart from wii sports.



Xbox 360 is so full of fan boys its make me sick and although it does have some awesome exclusives gears of war, halo but looking at the 2009 line up theres not much apart from gear of war 2 to play and ps3 has got tons



PS3 maybe more expensive but not in the long run because you dont have to pay £40 and year for live and you get tons and tons of free stuff and the PSN will give you.



360 and ps3 are both kool but i think the ps3 is edging infront of it at the moment and will continue to widen the gap in 2009

The time is not right to buy a Xbox 360 now.



The PS3 is getting better with Home,Life With Playstation,more exclusives etc.Uncharted 2,God of War III,Resistance 2



The 360 currently has a few exclusives in the studios like Halo Wars and Gears of Wars 2.



Plus,the 360 has some compatibility and hardware issues,the PS3 has only minor issues.



The 360 has great games,but those are getting dry now,with PS3 catching up,and developers getting used to the PS3s monstrous system.



The 360 is the cheapest console you can get.

PS3....about $150 more.



The 360 can only play normal DVDs,and HD-DVD drives cannot be got anymore.

However,PS3 has an extra addition,Blu-ray Disc added to it's list.



The 360 has very limited Xbox backwards compability,the PS3 has full backwards compability for PS1 games,but falls short for the PS2 games.



The PlayStation Network is free of charge,however the Xbox Live,is better with it's menus,interactivity,content etc. but requires $40 for full access.



The Xbox 360 according to Microsoft "Our efforts on the 360 are beginning to wind down".



The PS3 is sheduled for a 10-15 year production line,similar to the PS1 and PS2.



If I were you,I'd go for the PS3,you will understand when you buy it.

If you ask in Playstation category, people would say PS3.



If you ask in Xbox category, people would say 360



If you ask in Nintendo wii category, people would say Wii.



But I say you should get PS3 because its the most advanced system out there.



It also has heaps of exclusive games that are coming out this october and so on.

OK I have both ps3 and 360 i spend nearly $700 on my ps3 a 60gb $399 plus 3 controller $50 each =$150 and and 2 games 60 bucks each this is 6 month ago. then last week i bought a 360 elite for 399 bucks then bought the wi-fi thing for hundred bucks 3 more controller for 50 bucks each= 150 bucks then 2 games so i spend 800-900 plus tax. So if your saving money buy the ps3 because the ms points is not free but for ps3 is free just sign up then your done. u can downloaad free demo free themes free video and u can download a movie at PSN for like 15 bucks

Picking either one wont make a difference (mostly) in the game area, since they share 94.33something % of the games.



Which is where exclusives become decisive. Yes, most 360 exclusives are better.... BUT they can also be found on a PC. PS3 exclusives cannot (thank you Sony) so therefore, if you have a good PC, it is wiser to get a PS3 since you already have the option of playing "360 exclusives" on your PC. And come on, its no secret Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Gears of War 2 will find their way unto a PC, probably within a year, nevermind what Microsoft says (They said Gears of War would never go PC, hah!).



Plus, PS3 exclusives arent bad at all... I actually liked Lair.



Hardware wise, the PS3 is superior because of the blu ray. So you automatically get a blu ray player. Combine this with DSL = download heaven.



Online -wise, LIVE is better because it has more people but PSN is free and not bad. Your choice.



Im personally saving up for a Tablet PC for college. Mass Effect, here i come!!! XD

Get the PS3 because you put this in the playstation category.

Get whatever your budget allows. They are both excellent systems with their flaws and strengths.

both are good but if u want everything all in one the ps3..free internet...good games...free wifi...blue tooth..xbox u have to buy all the extra stuff

360 = AMAZING.

360 has the games baby, but the online multiplayer isn't free, but I think it's definitely worth paying. its more exciting than ps3 IMO.

Get the Wii because despite its lacking graphical capabilities its much more fun.
