Error when updating to version 1.02 for COD 5?

May be...

whenever i play call of duty it requires my ps3 to update the game's version 1.02. To update it says it will quit the game and the update will start. the game will stop but it takes me back to the home screen and does nothing. if i skip the update the game just sits on the COD loading screen.

It sounds like an internet problem. When I put my COD in it downloaded and installed the update no prob.

If it continues, Try reformatting your drive.. Sounds a B-iitch...



But thats last resort, try downloading it onto a USB drive off the internet if its on here, then put it on your PS3 try then.

when you click to start the game next screen should say do you want to download the COD 5 patch 1.02. click install.

i hope there is no problem like when socom was released that was terrible im getting cod 2day if u cant get it to work i would call sony and see how they can help u

well...download it B4 it goes into the COD screen...or just make sure your connected to the internet
