My ps3's IP Address failed?

May be...

i have verizon fios router. and i connected wired and it say when i test the connection that my IP address failed and that it timed out. how can i fix this. i really want to play online but i can't because of this

Make sure your router is turned on. And when you are putting Internet Settings put it manually. That always works best. I have Verizon Fios and it's a security thing so before I can use any online or internet on a computer or system I have to put in all the codes and IPs, SSIDs before I can even use it.



Then after that keep trying, you'll eventually get it. And when it says DNS error just reset your router. That's all you have to do.
