on PSN can you TALK while playing an online game?

Yes if you are using a mic or a bluetooth. Not sure what your asking in exactly but if your asking if you can talk to someone while playing a match with them then yes games like madden you can't talk to someone who in the lobby until you get in to the actually match and then you are able to talk to him, while other game such as call of duty you can talk in the lobby while waiting for the match to start. Remember if someone doesn't have a mic you can talk but they won't respond.

With a select few games yes, but I think Xbox Live has that part of the online experience figured out perfectly. PSN should take a page from that book. PSN has lots of flaws with the headset and mic situation.
