Ps3 In-game Music through xmb?

I know this question has been asked a lot. I tried looking for a more recent answer but could not find one. ok, Here's the question,



When will the patch be coming out so that you can play your own music during gameplay? I know how to already access the xmb bar during gameplay but when I try to play a song, it says the game doesn't support it or something like that. I've been reading forums that date back to Janurary that Sony was going to make some kind of firmware or patch so that it would allow ps3 gamers to play their own music during gameplay. It's now almost december, anyone know what the latest news is on this issue? Thanks so much. 10 points to the best answer :)

Burnout paradise supports custom soundtracks as does superstar dust but both have options through the games menu so not direct XMB access.



one of the 2 next firmware should sort it out tho, expect it to be release around late dec or jan

it wont be for a while

as of right now if you want im game soundtrack sony has a patch already for CERTAIN games such as warhawk, but thers not that many that support custom soundtrack yet
