Will the price of a Playstation 3 drop by christmas this year?

The price of Playstation 3 is a little high for my price range right now even though I hear its a great system. But will the price drop in any stores by Christmas?

Great question. I just got my job at Wal-Mart two weeks ago and the beginers got to have a little meeting.We were supposed to be in charge of making shure we got the correct price drops from the companies. But, its only dropping 40$

Most likely not. You might be able to get a bundled game with it for the same price sometime soon, but they will not be lowering the price on the PS3 hardware.

definitely...i don't know what the price is now but xbox 360 is under $200 & will most likely drop around christmas as well.

Sony has came out and said that there will be NO price drop this year.

No price drop this year cause Sony said so.
