Can I play the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 on PS3? Or is it only for the playstation?

I remember playing these with my brother when I was a kid and loved them. Have they made them playable on PS3 or just playstation only? I saw that there is a Resident Evil 5 for the PS3. Is that the only one? Are 2 , 3, & 4 good?

resident evil 5 for ps3 wont be out til march... resident evil 2, 3 , and 4 are all great games(classics)..you should definitely play them...i know that the 60GB and 80GB have backward compatibility so u can play ps1 and ps2 games...the other ps3 u cant
