If I got a PS3, what games should I get?

May be...

I am more of an Animal Crossing/ Adventure type person, and I also love racing games and games that play online. Besides Guitar Hero: WT/RB2, what games would best suit me for PS3?

-Little Big Planet (if you like creating your own type of levels and then either sharing them or going through them)

-Heavenly Sword (it's an old title for the ps3, but still a unique unforgettable game. You can even control arrows and things you throw by the way you hold your controller. Beautiful artwork and story. Quite an adventure)

-Prince of Persia (Just came out for the ps3, improved and better)

-Call of Duty 4 OR Call of Duty World at War (first person shooter if you like that, though you said animal crossing so this is like the opposite, but exciting online play. If you like Modern warfare, go for CoD4, WWII is World at War. Realistic but not at the same time but fun to play online. Level up weapons, and yourself)

-Silent Hill Homecoming (awesome addition to the silent hill collection and it is pretty scary. Effects are really nice in this part and maybe even make you jump)

-Metal Gear Solid 4 (this game has a very nice storyline, especially if you follow the previous ones, and the game play is very nice. You do not only do 3rd person, but also sometimes 1st, classic, and hand to hand. There is a lot to offer in this game)

-Tomb Raider Underworld (if you liked the ones before, you'll love this one)

-Burnout Paradise (believe it or not, found to be better than Need for Speed Undercover and Midnight Club LA, you burn out other players and explore what's in paradise kinda. It's fun for racing and goes online)

-Assassin's Creed (pretty cool storyline and game play. Not often do you get abilities that you do in this game)

-Bioshock (is not out for ps3 yet but soon to come. Unique storyline and exploring is not limited because there aren't really walls that keep you from exploration)



I'm sorry but titles like Animal Crossing are not very likely in PS3. If you want things like that, go Wii, even though Animal Crossing is a unique one on it's own. The PS3 offers a lot of titles that are not going to be too cute, but pretty adventurous and fun.

Little Big Planet is slightly similar to Animal Crossing.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is like Resident Evil on steroids. Great adventure game. As for racing games PS3 has a lot of them.

Moterstorm is a good one to get since it is only 29.99. Grand Turismo 5 is the best driving simulator out there. Moterstorm 2: Pacific Rift is 60.00$ but it is well worth it best racing game out there now.

For online games. Warhawk is kinda old so I don;t know if a lot of people play it anymore but it is an amazing game online.

but you should also get Massive Action Game (MAG)

For racing you have Motorstorm Pacific Rift which is now both local multiplayer as well as online multiplayer. I don't think there is anything quite as mundane as animal crossing on the PS3 but as far as adventure goes, Ratchet and Clank Future Tools is an awesome game.
