Is the 160gb ps3 for a limited time only like the 80gb mgs4 bundle?

my friend told me that it will only be out for a while then it will be gone.this really sucks cause i am about 150 bucks short of getting it.is that true?if it is then when will they take it out of stores?i don't want the crap 80gb.i want the 160gb!! lol. please help.

buy the 80 and upgade the hdd with the extra 150 u can buy a 300 gb hdd but it has to be a 2.5 inch hdd
