PS3 Question about updating for games (in details)?

i watched a video about something to do with ps3 gaming and they said something about a 3.1gb update u need for the game now would this be a download or is the update on the disc?

updates need to be downloaded. you can download it directly from the internet if your ps3 is online, or you can download the update on your computer, put it on a flash drive and connect it to the ps3 and update it like that.

on the main menu.. go left till u reach settings.. then it shud b the 1st choice.. System Update.. OR if its for a game.. make sure ur connected to the internet first and then before you start the game it should tell you that theres an update available for this game
