Should i get a wifi or wired ps3 online connection?

ok so my computer is on the first floor but my ps3 is on the second floor but the thing is im worried that if i go wireless i wont get a good connection but i dont know how to go wired either (sice my ps3 is so far away) any suggestions

I would say Wi-Fi. You wouldn't want to bother moving your PS3 just for a wired connection. Try Wi-Fi, and see if you like it. If you don't like it, you can always return the thing that made it wireless and trade it for a wire to connect to your computer. Of course, you can also just say neither if you don't feel like doing the other one if the original one you chose didn't work properly.

Get a good wireless router, such as a linksys. Works fine on my ps3, which is half way on the other side of my house..Just don't buy a cheap router or u will get a crappy connection. If u r worried about ur connection being to far away, u could always run a long cord from ur modem to ur router, so that ur router is closer to ur ps3..

Connect wirelessly and go under status and see what your percentage is if its over 50% you should be okay. it will work as low as 35% but when you get over 50% you will have a good connection that will be pretty stable.

If you can go wired than I recommend just using the ethernet cord but if you don't want to have a wire running through the room just go wireles. I recommend going wireless.

If you can go wired than do it because it just makes your online expirience so much funner. but wireles is ok too but you will lag sometimes while playing online
