PS2 Help? Is is getting really annoying and I am bored. Please help!?

ok i had this ps2 for a few years (i think 7 years. i got it when i was little). it was playing perfectly last night, and now all i see is a blue screen. i mean, i play it on my VCR so i see the blue screeen all the time but this time the game isn't even showing up! help please?



p.s. the game i was playing was Sims Bustin' Out PS2 and it is old, but does that affect the game system, or what?

Here are a couple things to check:



1) Are all of the cables still plugged in? Maybe it got bumped, tripped on, etc. and the cables have become loose or unplugged.



2) Is the VCR on the right channel to display the PS2? For instance, if you normally use AUX 1, make sure that's the channel you're trying to use now. Maybe someone accidentally changed the channel without you knowing.



It doesn't sound like your PS2 has died to me, it sounds like something simple has happened. Hopefully that's the case.

No if a game is scratched or broken the playstation will bring up a black screen with a red background saying Please insert a playstation 2 format disc-or it will start loading and freeze on a black screen.So its not the game-Either its the end of your ps2,or your wiring might be loose or eaten by rats-Like our television-If not get a pro I'm just normal guy
