Does a playstation 3 60 gig heat up more than the 40 gig?

No, it doesn't heat up any more than the other models.



Keep plenty of space around the back and the right hand side where the fans are. Get some canned air and blow the dust out every couple of weeks. Being weighted down with dust slows down the cooling ability of the fans.



I have 2 60gigs in my home. They do get hot (just like a computer) and lots of air flow has kept them running great.
