PS3 Online Help!!!! Bluetooth Experts!!!!!?

When ever I go online playing call of duty 4 and when Im in a game and turn on my Bluetooth my connection goes down to a Orange bar and that's the worst. But when I shut it off it works fine Im using a Sony Erricson bluetooth. HOW DO I FIX THIS!!! HELP PLEASE PLZ

What is happening is your Bluetootyh headset is operating on the same frequency as your router causing interference in your connection, which results in a poor connection and why it gets better when you turn your headset off. There are a few solutions, one you could stop using a Bluetooth headset and go for the PlayStation Eye, EyeToy for PS2, or any other webcam or a wired USB headset. The second is to go into your router's settings and change the wireless channel. Most default to channel 6 but there are 11 channels available so you could try various channels till you find one that works the best. The way to change the wireless channel depends on the router but first you need to access your router. To do this open an Internet browser on any computer connected to your wireless network, and type the following address (if it's a Linksys) 192.168.1.1, (if it's a D-Link or Netgear router) 192.168.0.1. If that doesn't work consult the manual of your router for the exact address.

Wow. That's wierd. Try doing a connection test under the "Network Settings" and see if that helps.



Also try bringing either the router or PS3 closer to each other.



Other than that, I don't know. I'm stumped.
