What make more sense for a 14 year old to get? A ps3 or xbox 360?

May be...

Which would make sense. I can get either one in may and i wanted to know what was best. most of my friends have xbox 360's but i don't really mind that much as im going to moving away.

I recommend the PS3... My friends little brother has the XBOX 360, and he cant go online because his dad wont by the online adapter + the money you gotta spend every year just to use XBOX LIVE?



PS3 is way better... No need for batteries on the remote controller [XBOX 360] the PS3 uses a bluetooth controller which you can charge.



Easy to set up; good parental controls so you keep an eye on the kids.



What else can i say? The PS3 is the best...



The only thing playing the XBOX 360 is that there are a FEW, A FEW, games which are better on the 360... but most games are great on the PS3

I would go with a PS3. Great graphics, great games, and you can use it as a blu ray player. Also the ps3 is a more stable system. It won't break down as much. Trust me I have had to send my xbox back to microsoft 4 times since I got it 3 years ago. I have never had a problem with my playstation which I got on release day. One thing to keep in mind is that those price drops are only speculation. Sony nor Microsoft has mentioned any thing about a price drop and a PS3 cost more than $400 to make the system so they are still losing money on every system they sell. But even with out a price drop I would still recommend a PS3.

I own PS3,Wii, & 360 consoles. My real question is, which type of TV do you have & which games do you want to play? Both 360 & PS3 have thire weekness. It is risky to buy 360 because of the RROD. I've been having my 360 for 4 yrs now & I only had RROD twice. If it wasnt for RROD, the 360 it would be perfect console. I mostly use my PS3 & Blu-ray is a new thing now. If I was you, I go for the PS3.

Put it this way 360 is way cheaper, so you can buy more games and Accessories.

but ps3 is also a great console but not worth spending that extra money on in my opinion.

PS3 I think. The Xbox has way more violent games. Have you considered a Wii. We have it and it is a lot of fun, especially the interactive sports and one on one games.

PS3, all the way, best console you'll ever get. I have both the 360 and PS3 and the PS3' s features are so much better and have much more than the 360. In my opinion, get the Playstation 3
