i am getting a ps2 game godzilla unleashed(please you can't do anything to change my mind) when i found out it wasn't for ps3 it was for ps2. i went to my friend he said not all ps3's can do this. he said it needs play back ps2, ps1. but how will i know it has play back? how much memory do they contain?



and i do really want godzilla unleashed.

the first 2 people are just gays... k so only some of the PS3's that are out right now can actually play ps2 games. They did that just to reduce the price of like 500 i think. The ones that are out right now cannot play PS2 games at all. None of them. I'm not sure but I think that the 60GB and the OLDER 80GB versions can play it. I'm sure you could look it up online, or just call your local retail store. But you will have to buy it used, or refurbished, if you want it to work.

PS: if you can wait to get your PS3, than do so. There will be a $100 price drop on the 80GB version in April. Sony has not said anything about it at all, they have not denied it, they have not confirmed it. But just wait a while until they do either, then decide.

The ones that are currently out right now contain 80gb and 160gb THEY CAN NOT PLAY PS2 GAMES. If it has 4 usbs you can play ps2 games if it has 2 usbs you cant.

The used ones are the older versions but sinse you already have a PS3...sorry.

Don't worry about it, you can't play any ps2 game on a ps3.

ps2 games are reverse compatible.

FIRST OF ALL UR FRIEND IS STUPID! any ps3 can play ps2 games just tell him theres no such thing as playback
