Anyone know why my ps3's wlan access indicator keeps coming on?

May be...

I hooked my psp up to it ,but it is not hooked up to the internet.

did you connect the PSP wirelessly?



Just because the light flashes doesnt mean it's actively connected to anything.



Mine flash all the time even when my PS3 is turned off. But I have Remote Play enable and remote play bootup active.



If it starts flashing rapidly that will indicate a connection but if it just blinks every now and then that just means it's active and ready for whenever you active you PSP connection to it , there is no way to totally disable/or turnoff the Wireless on a PS3

Cause the PSP is using the PS3's built in wireless.
