I need some very good reasons to convince my mom to buy a PS3... please help.?

May be...
  • i know it has blu-ray but something better
  • free online

use any mic, keyboard, printer, or hard disk drive you want with it..

    i just upgraded to a 320g HDD

u can install whatever operating system you want..even Linux...

it has a nice selection of games...

    no RROD
  • don't buy one you'll end up regretting it the ps3 doesn't have a lot of good games when your warranty is done its a ripoff to fix. you have to pay 100 dollars and up to fix it. Plus don't listen to these people i have the original 60gb ps3.Plus the online experience just sucks having to update your ps3 takes forever to download anything and the updates take forever and you have to do it every month.
  • I'm sorry but all of the reasons that all the previous answerers just gave you... she isn't going to care about those. Parents don't care about technology they care about the financial part of it.

You are going to have to come up with some of the money to help pay for this system. PS3's are not cheap, and with the crumbling economy your parents job might be in affect of it.

Get a job, or spend some of your savings. Otherwise don't expect to get a PlayStation 3 anytime soon.
  • Built in internet browser; watch youtube on your bigscreen

    Sexy look

look at photos in HD on your bigscreen

    killer graphics

    blu ray (which you know)

and tell her that soon, most movies will only be released on Blu Ray, and DVD will suffer the same fate as VHS. So better to be prepared than to miss out on your favorite flicks.
  • It's a freaking awesome computer. It's worth it for that alone.

You can connect it to your keyboard, mouse, and printer. Not to mention it's on your tv, making it a huge monitor. There are tons of reasons, it would have helped if you told us what you would use it for.
  • Show her a tactical game and say that your teacher recommends you it for educational reasons.
