Ps3 bluetooth auto detect?

May be...
  • i dont know why my bluetooth dosnt automaticly connect with my ps3 anymore. i always have to manually connect it to the ps3 whenever i start up the ps3. before it use to automaticlly connect. it starting happening when i started conencting my bluetooth to my phone is that the problem. is there a option where the ps3 can automaticlly detect the bluetooth pieace.
  • No there is not auto detect option.

But, go to Manage Bluetooth Devices, under the list you should see your headset or whichever device your connecting. Press triangle on it, and delete it.

Restart your PS3 and then re-register your device, it should connect automatically from now on.
  • yeah, your phone is the problem. PS3 won't connect to the bluetooth if the bluetooth is connected to the phone. The bluetooth only connects to one device at a time. You should disconnect it from the phone first before you turn on your PS3. That way, it may connect automatically to your PS3 since it's not busy with your phone anymore.

the PS3 is already in auto-detect mode but only if your bluetooth isn't connected to any device.
